Entertainment Weekly  - Legacy (Capitol) Review by Marc Weingarten
January 12, 2001 - Music - Reissues - RICK NELSON

Nelson was the Eisenhower era's Robbie Williams, a teen dream with a lot more going for him than model good looks. But his musical legacy has been ill-served by shoddy reissues, which makes this four-CD collection the most significant boxed set of the year. In gathering all of Nelson's great early hits ("Believe What You Say," "Stood Up," "Lonesome Town") with his trailblazing late '60s country-rock sides, as well as some wonderful oddities, Legacy should secure Nelson's place in the pantheon of great '50s rockers.
